The short version
This website sets no cookies. It saves one thing in your browser: whether you chose light or dark mode. Nothing else, and nothing that identifies you.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser and that your browser then sends back to that website with every request. Local storage is a similar place in your browser where a website can keep a small amount of information, except that it is never sent anywhere on its own: the website’s own code has to read it and decide to use it.

What we don’t use
- No cookies of any kind, for sign-in, security, or anything else.
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics and no other visitor measurement on this website.
- No advertising cookies, and no tracking of you across other websites or apps.
- No third-party code. Every script, stylesheet, font and image on this website is served from socialzoom.co itself, so nobody else can put anything in your browser through us.
- No payment window. Nothing is sold on socialzoom.co, so no payment provider’s code runs here.
Signing in to delete your account
The account deletion page asks you to sign in, so that nobody can delete someone else’s account. That sign-in is not saved in your browser at all. It is held in the page’s memory while the tab is open, sent only to our own API at api.socialzoom.co, and gone the moment you close or reload the page. No cookie is set, nothing is written to local storage, and your password is cleared from the form as soon as it has been used.
What our servers record
None of this is stored in your browser, so it isn’t a cookie question, but it should be said plainly: like any web server, ours records each request in a log, including your IP address. Section 3 of our Privacy Policy explains what those logs hold, and section 9 says how long we keep them.
Your choices
There is no cookie banner on this website because there are no cookies to agree to. The one item we save is there because you pressed the light or dark button, and the law doesn’t require us to ask before remembering a setting you chose yourself.
You can clear it whenever you like, in your browser’s settings, under site data for socialzoom.co. Everything on the website still works without it, including deleting your account: the site simply follows your device’s own light or dark setting again.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie, analytics, or anything else that stores information in your browser, we’ll update this policy first, and we’ll ask for your consent where the law requires it.
